Car Tax Credit Canada

Car Tax Credit Canada

Question: Would you elect me President of the US?

Here is what I will do. 1 bring our troops home witin 90 days. 2 Put in place very low cost health insnsurane for familys making undae $60,000 a year.3 protect a womens right to choose. 4 Give a tax credit for anyone who buys an american car made in the USA. 5 raise the min wage to $10 a year. 6 impose a heavy tax on any company who gouges the american people. 7 place 15,000 troops at the boarder and shoot to kill after 3 warning shots. Build a 10
foot. Wall on the boarder. 8 fund stem cell research. 9 alow low cost drugs in from Canada. 10 give a $ 2, 000. tax credit for each child under 20 yrs old and a $4,000 tax credit for rach child going to college. 11 no more war unless our soil is invaded. 12 Spend 50 % more on defense. how will i pay for this you say. Stop the wasteful spending, cut all pork and and put a winfall profit tax on large corporations. Reduce the spending on the space program until all americans have what they need on earth.

Answer: 1) Bringing our troops home before the job is done is unjust and wrong. Would you ensure that Iraq was stable in 90 days?

2) Who will pay for the health insurance for those who make less than 60k a year? If you plan on following California’s example by raising the insurance rates of those who have insurance you will see that insurance will go up must for those of us who have coverage and make between 30 and 60k

3) Women have the right to choose. It does not have to be protected. It will remain until there is a constitutional amendment to rid the US of the 14th amendment. That will never happen.

4) Why dont you just lower my income tax. Then I can afford to buy an American made car.

5) You raise the minimum wage to 10 bucks an hour you will be paying 9 bucks for a gallon of milk, and 5 bucks for a loaf of bread.

6) you will have to define gouge. I believe that I am being gouged by the government by the amount of income, social security, medicade taxes I have to pay.

7) studies show that warning shots end up killing innocent people that are not involved and not around the crime scene. Studies have shown that it is safer to shoot the suspect with the first shot. But hey maybe you plan will help lower the world’s over population problem

8) fetal stem cell research has been proven to provide no other advancements in medicine that adult stem cell research can do.

9) The tax payer in Canada pays for the subsidies that the drug companies receive so it would be a great idea. My taxes will not have to go up to pay for it. It will increase globalization, and world trade. This in turn will increase the coist of Canadian drugs and teh canadians can enjoy the high prices we pay. Oh yeah I got a 10 day prescription of antibiotics that cost me 8 bucks. My brother pays 15 bucks a month for his thyroid meds. But that is way to high.

10) That means that you will be giving me 10k a year for the next 3 years and 8 grand for the next 5 years. I would love that but how will you pay for that?

11) our soil was invaded/attacked on 9-11

12) increases in defense spending is always a good idea. Reagan destroyed the Soviet Union with defense spending. I do not think increased spending will affect the fundamentalist muslims like it did the communisits.

It is almost impossible to stop the pork barrel spending. Every representative in both houses of congress want to get re-elected and how they do that is by bringing federal money into their area.

SO I guess I am down to your original question, will I vote for you?

I doubt it.

Disability Tax Credit Child

Disability Tax Credit Child

Question: If you recieve disability but don’t make enough to pay taxes on it can you still get child credits?

How much to you get for 1 child if earnings were only $7600 &
no taxes were taking through the year

Answer: Good news!

If you only had an income of $7600 and you have a child whom you can claim on your return, you won’t have any tax liability, AND you’ll be able to receive the $1,000 tax credit.

A tax credit offsets your tax liability, meaning it decreases your tax or increases your refund by the amount of the credit. Since you have a zero tax liability, filing your tax return will get you a check in the amount of $1,000 from the federal government.

Dependent Tax Credit Canada

Dependent Tax Credit Canada

Question: Is it worth being Non-Resident in Canada for Tax purpose?

I will be working in United Arab Emirates for may be 5 years or even more. I do not own a house in canada but following conditions apply to me;
- I have driver’s license
- Medical Card from a province
- Licensed as Professional Engineer (Membership of Professional Engineers of Ontario)
- I have bank account/credit cards in canada

My spouse and dependents will be living with me and my spouse does not work so I am the sole earner of the family.

Now the question is: Is it worth being Non-Resident in Canada? If yes, what are the advantages and disadvantages? And how to declare my self a Non-Resident?

Answer: The question of residency is decided based on the facts of the particular situation. They look at questions like whether or not you have substantial ties to Canada, and your intent.

If your intent is to leave temporarily, that tends to keep you as a resident.

If you have drivers license, bank accounts, health cards, those are things that are ties to Canada. If you have personal possessions in Canada, that is a tie to Canada.

The big items that tend to show you as not resident, in your case, is that you don’t own property, and that your family will be leaving with you. These are more important than bank accounts, etc.

If you are on a specific term contract, that tends to show that you are leaving temporarily, and more like a resident.

If you are Canadian citizens, you can come and go. If you are not citizens, but permanent residents, then if you are not in the country for at least two out of five years you lose your residency status.

I’m not sure what the general advantages/disadvantages are of keeping your status as residents. There will be effects on you eligibility for provincial health care plans. If you are not resident you don’t have to file and pay taxes. If you are resident you do. I’m not sure that there is an advantage to maintaining residency. If you are citizens, then as soon as you return permanently you re-establish residency, but there may be waiting periods to be eligible for the provincial health care plans.

For Ontario, to maintain health care coverage, you have to be here for 153 days in a 12 month period, and you have to be here three months to re-establish eligibility. (http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/ohip/default.aspx).
