Answer: There are no “voluntary” contributions to a state unemployment insurance fund.
Employers are required to pay fees to the state for each employee.
Self employed people may fund their own account or they may just set aside money to cover their expenses in between jobs.
Regular employees are not required to contribute to unemployment funds even voluntarily.

Question: Can my partner Claim Tax Credits for my child when he is not her father?
My partner is about to start work and we would like to know if he can claim child tax and working tax credits when he is not my child’s biological father.
Answer: I live with my second husband and have two children from a previous marriage. We have a joint claim for the children.
For tax credits – you can claim jointly for the child but he needs to be working at least 30hours per week and the children must be under 16 or under 19 if in full time education.

Question: Any Small Business Owners who got bamboozled by the Selected One’s “Promise”?
I know you’re out there. I saw Obama signs all over every business in one town I drove through on election day.
Apparently, according to Schumer, not a single senator would vote for a “job creation or retention tax credit” worth $3000.
The list is dwindling, what other promises will he break?
Answer: Patrick B is full of BS when he says hes not an Obamabot. I see him all the time writing about how Obama is so great.
Anyways, he has already changed his entire persona. Most people would call him a republican.
