Canada Disability Tax Credit Amount
Question: Disability Amount Transfer?
I received a letter from Revenue Canada letting me know my daughter has been approved for the Disability Tax Credit she was born in Sept 2006 and recently diagnosed with Autism the letter states that because I did not have any taxable income from 2006-2008 the disability amount will not result in any additional refund for me, so my question is would my husband be able to claim the disability amount for those years as he was working and if he is able to claim it how would I go about that fill out a T1_ADJ for those years.
Answer: It is simple and straight forward. You would tell them to adjust line 318 of schedule 1 to include the “disability amount transfered from a dependent” The previous amount would be 0 the amount of change would the same as the revised amount which would be the full amount of the credit in the year applicable.
The amount for 2008 is 7,021
2007 6,890
2006 6,741
There is no calculation on your part but you must fill out one for every tax year. Be sure to include a copy of the disability tax credit letter you received from the CRA.http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/t1-adj/t1-adj-08e.pdf

Child Tax Credits

Question: Question about childcare element of child tax credits in the UK?
Lone parent on a salary of £14000
Registered childcare of £150 per week paid to childminder
What percentage of my childcare costs would be paid by the childcare element of the child tax credits in the UK?
I have heard it would be 80% but I would like some informed opinions.
What would this percentage be if my childcare costs were reduced to £100 per week.
Any assistance appreciated!
Answer: Ring up the tax credits and ask them as everyones entitlement is different.
Use all your tax credits or you’re going to lose them
Credit is pretty tough to come by these days — unless it’s tax credits. There are more tax credits available this year than ever before; more than 25 of them.

Car loan rates are well worth considering when you decide to buy a new car. It is important to compare the rates provided by different car loan companies so that you can get the best car loans deal available rather than just taking the first you are offered and then regret your choice later.
Two major factors will affect your car loan rates: the amount of money you wish to borrow and the length of time that you will take to repay the loan. Although these seem obvious things to consider before choosing a car loan, the process of calculating how much you should apply for and the repayments that you will pay can present you with a few problems. This is where a car finance calculator comes in handy.
A car finance calculator is an online calculator that you can use to calculate your regular payments for a specific loan amount over a specific period of time. Our car loan calculator has an easy-to-use interface where you input data and it automatically does your calculations. At its simplest, enter the sum borrowed, the period of the loan and the interest rate and it will provide you with your monthly payment.
When it’s time to choose a car loan rate, the banks and the traditional lending firms are not always the best option for a cheap car loan, because they price their loans and usually arrive at their car loans interest rates based on different factors. For example your rates could depend upon:
Sometimes it will be more beneficial for you to refer to a car loan broker knowledgeable in car finance options and the prevailing market rates. You should then be offered a comparison of car loan rates with recommendations of your best options. Your choice of broker could determine your overall success in securing the loan you want at a price you can afford. They could also recommend the best bank for your circumstances.
