Question: How does re-authorizing the Patriot Act “create jobs”?? Why is it included in Dems job bill?

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0210/32744.html

Democratic leaders are pushing a sweeping jobs bill to the Senate floor, but they have yet to forge a bipartisan deal on the Obama administration’s new top priority.

A draft of the roughly $80 billion bill, obtained by POLITICO, has a wide range of tax credits and job creation ideas, but it also includes provisions unrelated to jobs, including a reauthorization of the Patriot Act, infusion of new money to the Highway Trust Fund and extension of the so-called “doc fix.”

Answer: It creates domestic surveillance jobs. Which millions of out of work Americans will be more than happy to perform.

For any mass-scale tyranny to succeed, the population must be coerced into policing itself. Neighbor against neighbor.

8000 Home Buyer Credit Details

Question: Will I have to repay the $8000 tax credit if I move out before 3 years but do not sell before 3 years?

I am considering buying a home that I probably will not live in for 3 years but plan to rent out after I move out. What are the specific details about repaying the stimulus package $8000 tax credit for 1st time home buyers.
I do not know that I will be moving in less than 3 years, but there is a decent chance that my work will move me out of state before then. I have read some places that it cannot be sold in less than 3 years and some places that say that you must live in it for three years. I just wanted to clarify which it was. It will be my primary residence initially.

Answer: You have to pay it back if you don’t live in it for 3 years. They will take it out of the sale of the property when the time comes for you to sell.

Irs Credit Card Receipts

Question: How do i report a retail store on having a bogus policy?

I recently went to Toys’R’us to buy a gift for my niece for Christmas, but her parents already got her the exact same gift. It didn’t matter so I told her I would return it and get her something she wanted that only another store had, but when I went to return it the first time they wouldn’t accept it without a receipt and didn’t even check to see if I bought it there, so I had to go back and this time they said I could only get store credit. Are you f’ing kidding me, I showed them the receipt that I bought it with a credit card and they say I can only get store credit. the cashier said Wal-Mart did the same thing a few years ago and got in trouble for it and I want to know how to report them because they shouldn’t get away with this crap whether its their store policy or not. I’m not sure if it’s the IRS or the Better Business Bureau that I need to call does anybody else know?

Answer: You would call the BBB and the line of BS they are feeding you about walmart makes no sense. I know Walmart gives cash back if you have a receipt. I would talk to the manager there. If that doesnt fix it call the 800 number which is 1-800-toys-r-us.
