Tax Credit Oregon

Question: I have a 150 dollar tax credit and my employer is giving me a christmas bonus. Should I get taxes taken out of?
I have a 150 dollar tax credit for purchasing energy effecient fronter loader. Myy employer is giving me a christmas bonus of approx. 400$. Should I get taxes taken out of my bonus immeidately or wait for filing taxes and apply that credit towards my return? I usually don’t owe state or federal. Thank you for your answers! By the way, I live in Oregon!
AndreaAnswer: First off, what’s an “energy effecient fronter loader?” If you are referring to a washing machine, there is no Federal tax credit for that. There might be a state tax credit, however.
Bonuses and other irregular payments are subject to FITW withholding at a statutory rate of 25%, regardless of what you put on your W-4 or any other income. They will also withhold the usual 7.65% for FICA taxes and any required state income taxes as well.
