Question: 15000 Homeowner Credit- Already filed 2008 taxes?

How would this 15000 credit work for those who already filed 08 taxes? I purchased my home August 2008 and did qualify for the 7500 credit and did file it on my return. IF and I repeat IF this bill passes…how would I get the other 7500????

Answer: First and foremost, the credit is part of Mr. Obama’s stimulus which still has not gained congressional approval. If it and when it is passed and only if the credit is retroactive to when you bought your home, then you might be able to receive the additional credit.
