Question: how long does a working tax credit claim take?
I have just made a claim for working tax and child tax credit and told that a calculation will be made and payment would be sent to my bank account. Does anyone know how long it takes before payment is made and how far will it be backdated?
Answer: it will only be back dated 3 months i believe, depending on whether you qualify, it shouldnt take too long if i remember right i had mine by the end of the month i applied.
Check they have paid you right though because they will take back any over payment.
