Question: Childrens Tax Credit rebate? Has anyone received it yet?

Hi there, my partner and I have applied for the tax rebate that was in all the papers. The one when married person tax allowance finished and tax codes should have changed. We got our forms in before the 31st January deadline and just wondered if anyone has already received it and if so how was it paid? Cheque/into bank and so on. I understand it hasn’t been long just curious to see how quickly they are being processed.
About time the taxman gave us all something back!!

Answer: I know that some claims have already been processed, but a lot were sent in. If you are entitled to anything, you will get a cheque in the post (unless you sent a letter with your claim asking it to be made straight into your bank account, and you gave the bank address, sort code & account number).
