Irs Tax Credit Gov

Irs Tax Credit Gov

Question: If I use an unsecured line of credit to make payments on my 1st or 2nd home, is the interest ‘tax deductible’?

If possible, please provide a link to any IRS publication or ruling (www.irs.gov). Thank you.

Answer: The interest on the two mortgages is deductible, but if you’re borrowing money to pay loans, then the money you are borrowing that is unsecured is not deductible.

The loan must have a mortgage filed against it to be deductible.

You can not borrow your way out of debt. You need to sell the house and get your financial housekeeping cleaned up. This is a very bad plan!

Arianna Huffington: 2009: The Things I Want to Forget

For some, the end of the year is a time to think back on all the memorable moments from the previous 12 months. I prefer to continue my contrarian tradition of removing from my internal hard drive all the things that should no longer be cluttering my mind. My list of things to forget, circa 2009, includes Glenn Beck’s tears, Glenn Beck’s whiteboard, Glenn Beck’s attacks on Van Jones, and Glenn …

Tax Credit Air Conditioner Replacement

Tax Credit Air Conditioner Replacement

Question: How much should I expect to pay for a central air conditioner replacement?

I live in a western Chicago Suburb, my current central a/c unit is about 20 years old, was wanting to know how much a replacement (with install) would cost. My home is about 1300 square feet. With the tax credit plan, I thought it might be a good time to go ahead and do it, especially as they state with an a/c that old, you will recoup the costs pretty quickly.

Answer: I would look into getting a geothermal hvac system. You’ll get better tax credit for that than if you just got a more efficient but regular AC unit. Your energy bills will also be cut in half. Geothermal systems use less than 1/3 of the energy that an average system does. Here’s a good website to learn more about it http://www.geothermalsales.net

Child Tax Credit Working Hours

Do you hate that feeling you get when a bill, such as a credit-card, utility or council tax bill drops through the door?

Do you put the envelope to one side because you just can’t face seeing how much is owing and then a few days later nervously open it almost scared to look at the balance…and of course leave it to the last minute until you pay the damn thing?

Are you just a humble wage-slave, trading hours for money working 24/7 and then realising there are no more hours left?

When you think of it, it really is a sad state of affairs, isn’t it? What a way to live your life…yet millions of people live like this until they die.

Do you know what the most important factor in your success is?

Do you know who is responsible for creating anything you want in your life?

Do you know who is in control of your destiny?

YES – IT’S YOU, but nothing will happen unless you act.

It really is that simple: your success begins with you.  It begins when you decide you want to be successful, when you decide to take action and make it happen.

Action is the magic ingredient that will propel you forward.  Even if your plan seems incomplete, even if you are not sure it is going to work or how you are going to get there, just TAKE ACTION.

You don’t need to get it right, you just need to get going.  Take a step at a time and don’t worry about the size of the steps you are taking. Refuse to be a victim. Take decisive action and you will immediately feel better. Instead of worrying about where you can cut expenses, ask yourself what you can do to increase your household income.

No matter how much money you make in your job, business or main income source, you will never be totally financially free until you have a passive income (that’s money that keeps coming in whether or not you are working) equal to or greater than the income you make from your current job or business.

The problem with dollars/pounds for hours, as you know, is that there are only so many hours in a day and those hours run out.  Passive income can also be earned whilst you sleep and you must admit that certainly sounds a great way to earn a living.

You don’t have yesterday.

You don’t have tomorrow.

Your entire future and what you’ll be like this year is
shaped and determined by what you do today!
