Question: need to prove my working history or not as it seems?

hi, i’ve been at stay at home dad for 3 years and now am getting back into work been offered a decent job but need to prove i’ve been a homemaker while the fine lady of mine earnt the money so i’ve taken them the tax credits award notices but this isn’t good enough why i don’t know so does anyone have any idea’s on how i could obtain such information many thanks

Answer: You could ask HMRC to write a letter confirming you have not been employed for the past 3 yrs. Maybe the employer is concerned that you have been in prison all this time. As previous answerer says, ask them what proof they need.
