Question: Single mom, other than itemized deductions, what tax credits can I file for?
I dont want to file itemized deductions because I dont think I will get as much back,I need as much of a financial break as I can get on taxes, dont we all, and I just had my son December of 2006. Other than earned income tax credit and the child tax credit are ther any others I can get?
Answer: The answer above me is completely wrong about the phone thing.
There is a tax credit this year, if you had bundled phone service 5 years ago or so, but NO you can’t deduct your phone/long distance.
